Historic Caernarfon (6 miles) is home to a majestic castle, golf, riding and a narrow gauge railway that winds its way through the spectacular scenery of the Snowdonia national park. The pretty Island of Anglesey is within easy reach and offers many family attractions, water sports and superb sandy beaches, whilst Llanberis at the foot of Snowdon is home to both lakeside and mountain railways as well as a slate museum and the electric mountain. Pub serving food and shop 3 miles.

This was a lovely house in an idyllic setting, with a real feel of luxury in the decor, furnishings and, most important of all, the lovely hot tub. We would definitely recommend it to others, and in fact already have, and are busy making plans with our extended family about when we can return!
We felt that the landlady had spent time and energy on small touches, such as the welcome bottle of wine, the chocolates and fresh flowers, which made a real difference. The log fire was also already laid, though in the event we had trouble keeping it alight, and the house was beautifully warm on arrival.
All in all, a lovely place and one to which we will definitely return!
